We are a steel fabrication company that operates nationally from our custom-built Auckland factory at 25 Wookey Lane in Kumeu. We specialise in structural steelwork, metalwork, and a variety of other custom solutions.

Structural Steelwork
Our team is experienced in structural engineering for all types of commercial and residential projects.
From 3D modelled fabrication drawings through to CNC beam drilling, coating, and erection, we manage the full structural package. Every stage is tracked through our integrated management software, so you always know where your steel is in the process.
Projects are fabricated to AS/NZS 5131 and designed in line with NZS 3404 Part 1.

Global Engineering has been fabricating steel in Auckland since 1995. In that time, we’ve delivered steelwork for schools, hospitals, apartment blocks, stadiums, council buildings, motorway gantries, and commercial fitouts across New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Our Process: From 3D Modelling to Site Installation
Our fabrication specialists follow the same disciplined process for every project, from the first estimate through to steel in the ground.
1. Estimating
We start with a thorough estimate before anything else moves. This gives you cost certainty early and ensures the structural scope is clearly defined before fabrication begins.
2. 3D Modelling & Manufacturer Drawings
Our 3D modelling software produces high-quality manufacturing drawings that feed directly into fabrication. Structural engineers and project managers get a clear view of exactly what’s being done before steel is cut, removing interpretation errors at the source.
3. Fabrication
Our CNC Beam Line Drill integrates directly with the modelling software, so components are cut and drilled accurately from the outset. Every stage is tracked through our integrated management software, from drafting through to finishing, so there are no surprises on the shop floor.
4. Coating
We fabricate, coat, and erect all types of structures to a high standard. Coating is applied to specification and documented before installation begins.
5. Installation
Our own installation team can manage erection on site. The same quality standard that runs through our factory follows the steel to site, with each stage monitored through to final handover.
