One of the biggest challenges with structural steel and metalwork in the construction industry is - ensuring that all components delivered to site will fit together correctly. We at Global significantly address this by utilising StruM.I.S as the basis of our robust production management and quality control system. All incoming information from both the architectural and engineering specifications, including the client’s time-line and required delivery sequence, is fed into the drafting and managment program. Our highly skilled draftsmen then translate this data into the 3D models and comprehensive shop drawings follow. Alongside, StruM.I.S software continually works to give a clear and transparent view of progress, monitoring and status at each stage of manufacture.  The QS analysis module provides relevant data required for quality control throughout any model adjustments and production processes. Consequently, every part of the process is closely monitored from initial inquiry through drafting, fabrication and finishing to delivery and installation on site.

All of this process is completed in house enabling us to be in complete cost-saving control from day one. This software-based system has proved its worth with great success in a number of recent projects both in New Zealand and offshore.
